My senior sessions are structured to be more editorial in nature. Of course, I will take a few traditional headshots as I know they are wanted by some, and needed for the yearbook, however, what really excites me is capturing my subjects as their authentic selves, in beautiful light. I rarely use props but I can appreciate adding in meaningful objects such as an instrument if they play music, a special family heirloom they can wear or hold…something that has a purpose and will be even more treasured as time goes by.

movement
I love to encourage movement in my sessions. Whether it originates from a breeze outdoors, a fan in the studio, or by spinning around in a field of gold, movement adds another layer of interest to the final images.
